Virgil Lee Langley, 85, of Danville, passed away on Monday December 31, 2018 at Carle Hospital in Urbana. Per his wishes, there will be no visitation with private graveside service at Atherton Cemetery with Pastor Drew Mentzer officiating.
Virgil was born January 6, 1933 in Danville to Blaine and Bessie Swank Langley. He attended Union Corner Grade School and Westville High School. He was a farmer and worked at Deva Tee Pak for 27 years. He was a member of Second Church of Christ. He enjoyed traveling, NASCAR, and spending time with his family.
Virgil married Ann Catherine Maggio on February 16, 1957 in Covington, Indiana, she survives. Also surviving are two sons: Virgil Alan (Gail) Langley of Tucson Arizona, and James Arthur (Christine) Langley of Longs, South Carolina; Four grandchildren: Briana, Aaron, Michaela, and Tyler Langley; sister Mildred Langevin; and several cousins. He was preceded by his father and mother.
