Don was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Danville, IL.  He retired from Hyster (NACCO) after 30 years of service.  In his years after retirement, Don was active in the local Mustang car club and enjoyed restoring these classics and participating in area car shows. Don devoted much of his time and knowledge in helping his kids remodel their own homes.  He enjoyed his Grandchildren very much and could always be found attending school plays, sports activities and dance recitals. Don’s favorite activity was spending time with his family.  He kept his family close through pool parties, vacations, Holiday dinners and all of the year’s different celebrations. Don enjoyed RVing and seeing different parts of the Country in his final years.  Don and Selma were able to winter in Florida during the past several years and he also leaves behind a lot of close friends that were made during these journeys.
